Design & Tech

I help people solve their problems with design and technology.

Most people do not need a website. They need to know what they are building. I do both. Something in your business is not working, you need a website or platform built properly, or you want AI in your work without losing your voice. Seventeen years in technology, the last five and a half as a lead architect, now working with coaches, small businesses and missions. Start with a conversation.

I reply within 24 hours with a link to book a free 30-minute call.

How I can help

Start with the problem, not the technology

Improve what you have

Something is not working

Your tools no longer fit, a system keeps breaking, or a decision about platforms, data or security feels too big to get wrong. You get an architect's eye on it, a clear recommendation, and a plan you can act on.

  • Architecture and technology advice, by the day or by retainer
  • Built-it-yourself Review of a site you made with AI, with a prioritised fix list
  • Clarity Session, ninety minutes to plan a site you will build yourself

Build something new

You need a website or a platform

A home online that says the right thing to the right people, takes bookings and payments without fuss, and stays safe. Designed and built properly, the way I built systems for large organisations, at a size that fits you.

  • Come Home Online: a complete site, up to five pages, with booking and payments. Founding clients: three spots, with a testimonial and case study in exchange for a founding rate.
  • One-page Home: one beautiful page, for a simple start
  • Platform build: a directory, membership or custom platform, made to grow

Bring in AI

You want AI to work for you

Not to replace you, to give you hours back. Tools set up for the way you work, products built with AI in your voice, and clear guidance on what should stay human.

  • AI product or system: an assistant trained on your method, a course, a content system
  • AI set-up for your practice, with the right guardrails
Talk to me about it

Two builds a month, so each one gets my full attention. Advice and AI work fit around them. Every project starts with a conversation and a written proposal, because no two projects are the same.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises

A free 30-minute call

We talk your situation through. You leave with a clearer picture whether or not we work together.

A written proposal, then the work

Scope, timeline and a quote, agreed by email before anything starts. Every build then runs in three movements: Align, clarity on message, audience and structure before any code. Build, architected properly. Shine, launch and your first 30 days. The care plan keeps it running afterwards, included for the first three months.

Why me

One pair of hands, not four

Most people hire an architect, a developer, a copywriter and an AI consultant for this. You get one person who has done all of it, for large organisations and for herself. And because I am a coach too, I know what a client needs to see before they trust you enough to book.

Tima Camara

Lead architect turned coach and builder. I listen first, then I build what holds. More about me →

  • Seventeen years in technology, the last five and a half as lead architect. AWS certified.
  • Six years in senior leadership. I built an architecture function from scratch and led teams through change, so I know what a decision costs when people depend on it.
  • Enterprise and solution architecture, cloud, security and data protection, payments and integration.
  • Brand voice, positioning and copy direction, so the site says the right thing.
  • Product thinking: what to build first, what to leave out, and how to tell whether it is working.
  • Twelve years building communities, first in a gym and now online. I know what makes people come back.
  • AI-assisted build and content, with discernment about what stays human.
  • Bilingual, English and French.
  • Two platforms designed and built myself, alone, with AI.
Before the session, AI felt overwhelming and a little intimidating. Tima made it feel simple, human, and useful. I left feeling more confident, less behind, and clearer about how AI could support me without taking away my own voice.

Homes I have built

Proof, not promises

Women Align and Shine home page

Women Align & Shine

  • The needA women's coaching practice, with workshops, circles and 1:1 work in two languages, needed one home its owner could run herself.
  • What I builtA multi-page bilingual site with booking, payment links, email capture, contact forms and legal pages. Copy, brand and structure as well as the code.
  • The resultOne warm, structured home where every page leads to a clear next step, live in English and French, maintained without a developer on call.

Designed and built by Tima.

BeeBhakti home page

BeeBhakti

  • The needBhakti gatherings around the world had no shared, free place to be found.
  • What I builtA platform, not a page: searchable listings, member accounts, saves and follows, gathering submissions, organiser links and admin tools.
  • The resultA free worldwide directory that grows through community submissions, architected so it can take on more without a rebuild. Nothing is ranked by payment.

Before you write

Questions people ask first

Do I own the site when it is done?

Yes. Once the final payment is made, the website or platform is yours: the code, the content, the data. You can host it where you choose and take it to another developer at any time. I do not build on a platform that locks you in, and I put that in writing in the proposal.

How long does it take?

It depends on what we are building and how quickly you can give feedback, so the timeline is agreed in the written proposal before anything starts. A one-page home is the fastest way to go live. A platform is scoped in stages, so you can launch something real early and grow it.

I do not have my words or photos yet. Is that a problem?

No, and it is the usual starting point. The Align step exists for this: we get your mission into one sentence, decide who the site is for and what it should say, and I give you copy direction, or write with you. Photos we plan together, and I can work with what you have.

Can I make changes myself after launch?

Yes. I show you how to change the everyday things: words, prices, dates, images. The care plan covers hosting, updates and small changes, and it is included for the first three months of every build. After that you can keep it monthly or take it over yourself.

I built my own site with AI and it is not working. Can you help?

Yes, and there is no judgement in it. The Built-it-yourself Review is an architect's look at security, payments, data, mobile, and the path from visitor to client, with a prioritised fix list. Sometimes a few fixes are enough. Sometimes we agree it is quicker to rebuild, and you decide.

Is it too early? I am still training.

It is rarely too early to get clear. The Clarity Session gives you positioning, page structure, an offer ladder and copy direction in ninety minutes, so that when you are ready to build, or to have me build, the thinking is already done.

What if I do not like the design?

You see the structure and the direction before I build, and the proposal includes revision rounds. I would rather hear "this is not me" early than polish something that is wrong. We keep going until it feels like yours.
